Crafted with Culture,
Threaded with Heart

Every piece that passes through Angeline’s hands carries more than just beads and thread. It carries memory, meaning, and a connection to the generations who came before her. Beading, for Angeline, is both a personal practice and a cultural preservation — one she now shares through her handcrafted shoes, custom kits, and teaching.

Beaded Shoes:

A Conversation Between Past and Present

Long before she ever picked up a needle, Angeline would admire the beaded slippers her maternal grand-aunt wore — each tiny bead stitched with care, patience, and purpose. Years later, she would carry on this tradition, one delicate stitch at a time.

Today, Angeline continues to craft Peranakan beaded shoes by hand, using Czech glass beads for their refined shine and vivid clarity.

If you’re interested in a pair, Angeline welcomes you to reach out personally through WhatsApp. Every request is handled case-by-case, depending on her time and availability.

Starting Your Own Journey

For those who are curious to try beading themselves, Angeline has designed a set of starter kits — the very same ones she uses in her workshops.

Each kit includes:

A simple template to guide beginners

Carefully sorted Czech beads

Essential tools to get started

Whether it’s a personal project or a team bonding session with friends, family or colleagues, the kits are a gentle way to explore the craft without pressure. Every piece is selected with intention, making it easy for anyone to begin — no experience needed.

To enquire about a kit, please drop a quick WhatsApp message. Kits are put together in small batches and often customised for the group or session type.

Beauty in Every Bead

Each bead tells a story — of patience, history, and the joy of making something with your hands.

“These shoes, bags, and other beading crafts embody more than their aesthetic appeal.
It’s about celebrating our rich cultural legacy and embracing our heritage.”
